East Boise 13u's:  East Boise 13-U Babe Ruth baseball team went 1-3 at the Babe Ruth World Series August 19-26, 2010 in Levelland, Texas.  

East Boise 12u's place 3rd in World Series!

The East Boise 12-U team went 3-1 in pool play to advance as the #2 seed in the quarter finals by defeating Oxford Connecticut.  They defeated Springfield PA to advance to the semi-finals where the bats ran out in a 7-1 loss to Visilia California.  Final coverage of the team on KTVB Sports Extra.

Pacific Northwest Regional wrap up:  The East Boise 12-U All-Stars have won the Cal Ripken 12-U Pacific Northwest Regionals and will play in the Cal Ripken World Series Tournament in August.  East Boise defeated the Eastern Montana team from Whitefish by a score of 7-2 in their semi-final game.  Zac Lucas had a pair of home runs, pitched 3 scoreless innings and was named MVP of the semi-final game.  Jake Taylor added a homerun. 

In the championship game, East Boise prevailed 10-3 over the Conway team representing Northern Washington.  Parker Price pitched the first three innings of the game while hitting two home runs and being named MVP of the championship game.  Trey Steffler had multiple "web gems" at second base while both Payton Harris (5th) and Jake Taylor (6th) added 3-run homeruns in the championship game.

The East Boise team will travel to Wilson County, North Carolina.  The members of the team are Jesse Banks, Phil Browning, Bo Hanson, Payton Harris, Corey Holcombe,  Zac Lucas, Parker Price, Alex Reeves,  Will Satterfield,  Trey Steffler, Justin Streeter,  Zack Sell, Jake Taylor.  Their first game will be on August 13th against the Southwest Region Champion.   More details on the World Series can be found on-line at http://baberuthonline.com/home/worldseries/world_cr60.asp.
